The Home Depot offers a 10% discount every day to active service members, military veterans, National Guardsmen, reservists, service-connected disabled veterans, and their immediate military family members.

This retailer isn’t the only home improvement store that offers military discounts to thank service members for their sacrifices.

Lowe’s also offers a military discount to service members, eligible veterans and their families.

The Home Depot’s Military Discount Policy

According to Home Depot’s customer service department, the year-round military service members discount applies to purchases up to $5,000 for a maximum value of $500. (Some exclusions apply – more on that below).

Immediate family members of eligible service members and veterans can also get the discount with a valid military dependent ID card or if the service member is present with valid military ID or other proof of service at the time of purchase.

How to prove military service:

Read about other ways to verify military service here.

Home Depot’s military discount is only available for in-store purchases within the United States. and using the discount doesn’t require registration or an extensive approval process.

Also, discount policy details may vary from location to location, so check with your local Home Depot before making any purchases.

Is The Home Depot Military Discount Available Online?

The 10% military discount is not available online. However, it may be possible to make online purchases for in-store pickup and obtain a discount when you pay at the store.  If you make purchases this way, ask for a price adjustment to see if it’s available at your specific location.

The Home Depot Online Coupon Codes

The Home Depot offers a variety of sales which can vary by location. Before you shop, it’s a good idea to check local advertisements, fliers, promo codes, and online store promotions for up-to-date information.

In many cases, The Home Depot website features deals that aren’t available at their warehouse stores, so it pays to do some digging for deals online.

What Can You Use The Home Depot’s Military Discount For?

Home Depot’s discount policy is straightforward and doesn’t require any external registration or approval process.

Home Depot offers its in-store-only 10% military discount throughout the year. It is applicable to purchases up to $5,000 for a maximum discount of $500.

As with all discounts and savings opportunities, Home Depot’s military discount comes with a few restrictions and prohibitions. Military discount users should be aware of them before stepping into the check-out line.

After all, you don’t want to attempt to buy $7,000 worth of goods only to find that the maximum purchase amount is much less.

So, what limitations and exclusions apply to Home Depot’s military discount?

The Home Depot’s Military Discount Exclusions

Some products and services are not discounted, including:

  • Goods with manufacturer imposed restrictions
  • Gift cards
  • Freight services
  • Installation services
  • Items already on clearance
  • Items with other existing discounts
  • Commodities with small margins that don’t allow for discounting, such as lumber and drywall, etc.

Although the maximum discount is $500 most of the time, some stores may have a lower threshold, depending on the item or store location.

As already noted, the 10% discount is not available for online purchases, though you may be able to get around that limitation.

Home Depot’s military discount is for personal use only. You can’t pay for your purchase with a commercial credit card or have a job number connected to the purchase. The exception is that you can get the military discount using Home Depot consumer credit card.

Finally, the discount can’t be used retroactively for prior purchases, regardless of the reason.

Can You Stack Military Discounts At The Home Depot?

In most cases, no. You can’t stack a military discount and a contractor’s discount. But, if Home Depot is offering a storewide deal, you may be able to use your military discount on top of that deal. If in doubt, call ahead and ask.

What if You Don’t Receive a Discount?

Some active military personnel and retired veterans have reported not receiving a 10% discount when shopping at The Home Depot. Please review the information above and verify that the discount applies to your particular purchases.

You might not qualify for the discount if there are exclusions as noted above, or you don’t have the proper form of required ID.  Clerks can get in trouble or lose their jobs if they accept a non-valid form of ID, so please don’t put them in an awkward position.

If you have questions or think that you were wrongly denied the discount, you can ask to see a copy of the military discount policy.

Shop Around to Other Retailers

If Home Depot doesn’t honor the military discount, then compare prices with other stores, including Lowe’s.  If one competitor has home improvement coupons, check to see if the other will honor them.  Consider all of your options to ensure you’re getting the best deals on the products you need.

You can find even more savings with special Memorial Day and Veterans Day discounts at retailers and restaurants nationwide.

In addition to the military discount program, the Home Depot also offers a variety of programs that support the military community, including efforts to hire military veterans and programs to help build homes for disabled veterans.

In Summary

I’ve used the military discount at The Home Depot many times, and I’ve always been grateful for the support The Home Depot shows the military community.

Make sure you read the fine print and understand the exclusions and terms of using your Home Depot military discount.

A 10% military discount may not seem like such a significant discount on paper, but the idea of gratitude that it symbolizes is a powerful thing.

If you’re a veteran or active duty military member that is eligible for Home Depot military discounts, don’t miss out on the chance to take advantage of the special pricing.

Author’s note: Even if you are denied a discount, we should appreciate that The Home Depot is making an effort to support our community through their ongoing policy of hiring veterans and programs to help build homes for disabled vets.  In all cases, please thank store workers to show your gratitude for supporting us in many ways.

Home Depot Credit Card Login, Payment, Phone Number, Benefits will be discussed here. The idea of strolling through the wide aisles of Home Depot, dreaming of the home improvement projects you might pursue in the upcoming months, has an allure that is hard to ignore. Although there is no annual fee on the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card, it doesn’t elicit the same amount of great sentiment, despite its $0 annual fee.

Home Depot Credit Card

Among the most appealing aspects of the store card are that it does not provide ongoing rewards, nor does it come with any additional perks. If you are a big fan of Home Depot, you would probably benefit more from a flat-rate cash-back or rewards card.

This retailer, commonly referred to as Home Depot, delivers tools, construction products, and other services to home improvement enthusiasts. Cobb County, Georgia, is the company’s headquarters with an Atlanta mailing address.

All ten provinces of Canada; 32 Mexican states and Mexico City; and the District of Columbia. The company is a big-box retailer. Interline Brands (now The Home Depot Pro) is another MRO company owned by The Home Depot, with 70 distribution centers located throughout the U.S.

Home Depot Consumer Credit Card

With the Home Depot consumer credit card, everyday purchases at Home Depot can be made just as with other store cards. On most appliances worth $299 or more, you can get 12-month interest-free financing, and on heating and cooling, you can get 24-month special financing, as well as seasonal offers, such as $25 off snow blowers in the fall. Several promotions throughout the year offer 0% interest for six months for purchases over $299.

How Home Depot Credit Cards Work

Occasionally, home improvement becomes a “must do” rather than a “want to.” If that is the case, a Home Depot credit card may be the best option, especially for emergency repairs.

There are several credit cards offered by Home Depot, including consumer cards and company cards. The retailer offers its consumers a credit card that can be used in its stores. A purchase of $299 or more is eligible for six months of 0% financing.

Home Depot Credit Card

Businesses and contractors can also get commercial cards from Home Depot. The company offers a commercial revolving charge card as well as a monthly commercial account. Citibank issues Home Depot’s credit cards.

Home Depot Credit Card Login

The login process to Home depot credit card is straightforward.

  • Just visit the website of home Depot, and go to the apply now option.
  • By filling in all the details, you will get the login details for your account.
  • Then whenever you need to log in, you can directly search home depot credit card login, and the login page will appear on the screen.

Benefits and features of the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card

Consumer Credit Cards offered by Home Depot are not traditional store credit cards with loyalty programs. A $0 annual fee is all that separates this card from competitors for people who frequently shop at the store but need some breathing room when paying off big purchases.

If you want to finance a large purchase, you should only invest it as an investment. Even with the special financing offer, interest charges can mount up over time and become financially burdensome. In this situation, the credit card may be a valuable option if you plan on fixing up your home to increase its resale value.

Avoid simply financing items that aren’t useful in the long run, such as a new power tool. It would be best if you only bought those items after paying your monthly bill. If not, you will be charged an APR ranging from 17.99% – 26.99%.

If you want to know if you qualify for the credit card before applying, you can use Home Depot’s preapproval tool.

Obtain financing for large purchases

Credit cards offer consumers the benefit of financing purchases. This card simplifies the process of taking care of minor household repairs or a complete home renovation by reducing the amount of interest you would pay.

Purchases of $299 or more can be financed for six months with the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card. By paying the balance within six months, you won’t have to pay interest. Certain purchases can even be financed over 24 months with special promotions.

On qualifying purchases, you will receive a coupon

There is no sign-up bonus with the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card. However, when you sign up, you will receive:

  • If you spend $25 or more, you’ll receive $25 off
  • Buy $300 or more and get $50 off
  • Spend $1,000 or more and receive $100 off.

Offer valid until January 27, 2021.

Returns are accepted for a more extended period

Some items qualify for 30- and 90-day returns at Home Depot, while others allow 180-day returns. The Home Depot Consumer Credit Card, however, gives you a year to return purchases. The Home Depot Design Center offers a 90-day return policy on items purchased there.

Credit Card Agreement for Home Depot

Depending on your creditworthiness, the Home Depot card offers APRs of 17.99%, 21.99%, 25.99%, or 26.99%. Late payment fees are up to $40, and the card comes with a grace period of 25 days.

Maximum credit limit of $55,000

A consumer loan or line of credit may be accessed through this small piece of plastic.

To apply for a loan, you must first request the loan amount, typically the amount you estimate your home renovation project will cost. You can borrow up to $55,000 through the Home Depot Project Loan.

Creating a renovation budget is typically challenging at times. Requesting only what you think you need is good practice. As long as you use your credit within the 6-month window, you only owe the amount you spent during that window.

There is no collateral required for the Home Depot Project Loan. Having an unsecured loan is crucial because approval will be determined primarily by your credit score, your debt ratio, whether or not you own your home, and potentially several additional factors.

There is probably no chance you’ll be approved for a huge credit line if you don’t have the financial profile to back it.

Other than the special offers, you won’t earn rewards points or get cashback with this card. When you use a credit card responsibly, you might be better off with a cashback card or a rewards card rather than a store card, unless the promotions are something you’re interested in. Essentially, it is like a line of credit for projects. There are no rewards or perks if you need to borrow up to $55,000 for renovations or home improvements.

How does Home Depot finance deferred payments?

For the first six months, certain purchases will be financed at no interest or deferred. By the end of the six months, you will need to pay off the balance in full. It is your responsibility to pay all the interest for the period even if there is a balance of just one cent remaining at the end of the six months. This credit card has an APR ranging from 17.99% to 26.99%, so it should be avoided.

It would be better to apply for a credit card with a 0% introductory APR rate to avoid this problem altogether. This type of credit card waives interest charges during the set period, generally 12 to 18 months. After the introductory period ends, your remaining balance will only be subject to interest.

Loyalty Program: Pro Xtra

A loyalty program for professionals, Pro Xtra, is offered by The Home Depot. Our members get access to exclusive discounts, paint rewards, and volume pricing. The site also provides business tools, such as Text2Confirm purchase authorizations and reloadable gift cards.

Energy Savings

For every $100 of qualifying Home Depot purchases you make, you will earn 10 per gallon with Fuel Rewards.

Using your Shell or other select gas station card, you can save up to 20 gallons on your fuel purchase at choose Shell and other gas stations.

Itemization of Purchases

On your monthly billing statement, you will find an itemization of all commercial purchases. By tracking the buyer’s or job’s name or monitoring the job number or the purchase order, purchases can be tracked.

No interest for 60 days on every purchase

In addition, both commercial cards and accounts offer 30- or 60-day terms for payment. Particularly if your business has no history of credit, you may need to provide a personal guarantee when opening a commercial account. You will be responsible for all debts and obligations if the company defaults on payment.

Commercial Home Depot Accounts work more like charge cards than credit cards. Since your balance is expected to be paid in full each billing cycle, there is no set APR or minimum monthly payment.

It is more like a credit card for the Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card function. Payments must be made at least once a month, and interest is charged after the 60 days on the unpaid balance.

Is the Home Depot Credit Card Right for You?

The card may make sense for you if you’re a frequent Home Depot customer. Cardholders do not receive cashback, but the introduction offers currently available may be enticing. If consumers are shopping at the home improvement store for routine fixes, they may want to consider one of the best cash-back credit cards.

A Home Depot credit card can be very beneficial for anyone to have. It’s especially helpful when you have some home improvement plans in the works. This card is a great asset for when you have a small renovation or even a larger project to undertake. Here’s what you need to know about the Home Depot credit cards, from their rewards to how you can benefit from having one of your own.

What Are Home Depot Credit Cards?

Home Depot credit cards are store-issued cards that offer different financing options to customers of Home Depot. There are different variants to these cards, with benefits differing between each. The Home Depot credit card that primarily targets general customers of Home Depot is the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card.

What Are The Different Home Depot Credit Cards?

credit card

Home Depot Consumer Credit Card

The Home Depot Consumer Credit Card is the most basic Home Depot credit card that customers can avail of. It functions similarly to a regular credit card in that it offers cardholders credit for shopping at Home Depot.

Purchases of $299 or more allow cardholders to avail of 0% interest for six months. Take note, however, that there are conditions that need to be met in order to enjoy the 0% interest perk. Cardholders will need to pay their balance in full within six months for the 0% interest. Missing even one day after the six-month limit will charge cardholders with a full interest rate for the six months as consequence.

There are also other special offers that are available for limited periods. These include 12 months special financing on appliances and other house installations at certain prices. However, conditions still apply with regards to paying off your balance within the allotted time frame, else you have to deal with deferred interest.

Though this card does not offer a rewards program, it at least waives an annual fee. Furthermore, Home Depot Consumer Credit Card holders can enjoy an additional perk of returning items up to one year after purchase.

Home Depot Project Loan Card

The Home Depot Project Loan Card operates a little differently than the Consumer Credit Card. As its name suggests, this card allows you to apply for loans that can be used at Home Depot. Cardholders are permitted to apply for a credit line of up to $55,000.

Upon approval of your loan application, you will be provided with an 84-month schedule to pay back your loan. How much you pay will depend on how much you request on top of the card’s fixed 7.99% annual percentage rate (APR).

Much like the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card, the Project Loan Card does not require any annual fees. On the other hand, it does not come with a rewards program either. Also take note that upon being approved for a Project Loan Card, you will have a six-month timeframe to purchase any products or installation services from Home Depot.

Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card

Whereas the Consumer Credit Card and Project Loan Card are primarily for typical consumers, the Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card caters more to businesses and professionals. Though it is called a “charge card,” it functions a little differently next to other regular charge cards.

Unlike most charge cards, Home Depot’s Commercial Revolving Charge Card allows you to make payments in increments. On the other hand, the Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card also incurs an APR if you take extra time to pay off your balance.

An additional perk to the Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card is its basic fuel rewards program. Cardholders can benefit from savings of $0.10 per gallon when they fuel up at select gas stations. This is for every $100 that cardholders spend on Home Depot purchases.

Home Depot Commercial Account Credit Card

Interestingly, Home Depot’s Commercial Account Credit Card works like a regular charge card. This means that it does not have an APR, as cardholders are required to make payments in full for every billing period. But, cardholders can also opt to set payment periods to either 30 days or 60 days.

The Home Depot Commercial Account Credit Card does not charge an annual fee. Plus, much like the Revolving Charge Card, the Commercial Account Credit Card also comes with the same fuel rewards program.

How To Improve Your Chances Of Being Approved For A Home Depot Card

It should be noted that even if you’re pre-qualified, your approval for any credit card is not guaranteed. This is because other factors, such as your income, are evaluated before final approval. Nevertheless, there are steps to take to improve your chances on how to get a Home Depot credit card without much challenge.

The steps are as follows:

  • Try as much as possible to get your copy of your credit report and make sure there are no errors.
  • Then, contact the credit bureau to dispute any errors and re-check your credit report before reapplying.
  • If you still do not receive approval, then apply for a secured credit card. This will require a deposit to build a positive credit history.
  • Once your report reflects positive credit history, then you can re-apply for the Home Depot card.

Ultimately, even if your credit card is rejected, it does not mean you will never be approved for a Home Depot card. There may be other factors in your credit history or finances that could hinder your chances of approval with Home Depot. Make a thorough review of your finances and credit report to figure out how you can improve your chances with your card application.

How To Make Payments

Home depot credit card payment online

When using your credit card, you can make payments either online or through mail. Here’s how you can make payments for your Home Depot Credit Card.

Home Depot Credit Card Payment By Mail

You can use the return envelope and the payment coupon attached to the monthly statement to send payment via mail. However, if you lose your return envelope, there are two alternatives to mail back your payment:

1). Log in to your Home Depot Account online and click on the “Statements” tab from the “Account Activity” menu. You will then be granted access to your statement in PDF format. Print out the PDF file to include the necessary information in your mail.

2). You can also put your payment check in an envelope and write your account number in the memo section. This is so Home Depot knows which account to credit. Mail the envelop to this address: The Home Depot Consumer Credit Card Payments, Home Depot Credit Services, P.O. Box 9001010, Louisville, KY 40290-1010.

Online Home Depot Credit Card Payment

Use your Home Depot login to access your Home Depot credit card account online and make an electronic payment. After logging in to your account, select “Make a Payment” from the “Payments” menu. If you plan to use your savings account or checking account to pay your bill, then you will need to supply your bank account number and an ABA route number. Also, your Home Depot card can be used online to track your account activity, receive exclusive offers, and activate account alerts.

Why Should You Apply For A Home Depot Credit Card?

Pearks on Home Depot credit card

What are the perks that come with a Home Depot card? Why choose a Home Depot credit card over other special store-issued cards? Here are some reasons that may compel you to get a Home Depot card of your own.

It Offers Special Financing Options

Home Depot provides cardholders with special financing offers for limited periods of time. Some offers you might encounter as a cardholder may include:

  • 12 months special funding for on appliances for $299+
  • 12 months special funding for installed fences $2,999+
  • 12 months special funding for an installed roofs, sidings, windows, insulation, gutters, and sheet protection $5,000+
  • 24 months special financing by special order and installed blinds, or shades
  • 12 months special funding for riding mowers $899+

You Can Enjoy Exclusive Offers And An Extended Return Period

If you’re a frequent Home Depot shopper, then you can take advantage of the fact that hassle-free returns are offered for one year with the card. This is four times longer than the usual return period for Home Depot purchases. Cardholders can also enjoy exclusive offers, such as a 10% Home Depot discount on a particular brand for a limited period, or 24-month funding offers during special promotions.

Bigger Projects Or Renovations Are Now More Attainable

With a Home Depot Project Loan Card, you can borrow up to $55,000 for major improvement projects at a relatively low APR (7.99% as of July 2019) for up to seven years. Home Depot Project Loan Cards are for financing larger projects, such as kitchen or bathroom remodeling. As such, it can appeal to consumers who do not have access to loans with a lower APR, such as a home equity loan.

New Cardholders Enjoy A Modest Home Depot Discount

As a new Home Depot cardholder, you will receive $25 off your first purchase if you spend up to $999. Similarly, you can enjoy a $100 discount if you spend $1,000 or more when you first receive your card. Additionally, Home Depot regularly runs promotions to encourage cardholders to fund purchases with the card.

Drawbacks

With advantages come some disadvantages to the Home Depot card. Take note of these drawbacks to determine whether or not Home Depot’s credit card is something for you.

Penalties

If you fail to pay your balance before the end of the six-month interest period, you will have to pay all the interest accrued during that time on the entire initial balance. This means that you will pay interest even on the part of your debt that you have already paid.

The limitations for the promotional period are different from regular credit cards, which offer 0% APR for several months. If you still have a balance after the end of these introductory periods, you only pay interest on your outstanding balance.

High Interest Rates

The Home Depot Credit Card interest rate is a range between 17.99% and 26.99% depending on your creditworthiness. But, three of the four levels are over 21% (21.99%, 25.99%, 26.99%). This is towards the high end of the typical spectrum of interest rates for credit cards.

Additionally, its offer of 0% can be a little misleading for some. Do take note that although Home Depot offers 0% interest for its credit cards, it is, essentially, conditional. You can enjoy 0% interest only if you manage to make your payment within the six-month period. Failure to do so will result in paying the full interest rate.

Lack Of Flexibility

As it is only a store card, the Home Depot Credit Card can only be used in Home Depot. Remember that it is not like your regular credit cards despite having similar functions to such cards.

Travel with Grant Advertiser Disclosure

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.  Long story short, I bought a few things at Home Depot, forgot to return them within the standard return period, and ended up with $175.86 in Home Depot store credit.  I figured Home Depot store credit would be easy to use, like a regular Home Depot gift card, but boy was I wrong.  I ran into the issue when I tried to buy some outdoor patio furniture slipcovers online.  When I entered the Home Depot store credit information into the gift card payment field, I got an error message saying “We’re sorry. Home Depot store credit can only be used in stores. Please use a different payment method.”  Dang, Home Depot took “store credit” very literally.  After some persistence and a visit to my local Home Depot beach house rentals surf city nc, I was able to use my Home Depot store credit for an online purchase.  Keep reading to learn more.

My first stop was at the Home Depot Check Gift Card Balance page.  Unfortunately, I received the same error message as before: “We’re sorry. Home Depot store credit can only be used in stores. Please use a different payment method.”

My second stop was to the Home Depot Gift Card Frequently Asked Questions page.  According to the FAQs, Home Depot store credit stopped working online on June 30, 2016.  Home Depot made this change in order “to avoid potential fraud, theft and consumer confusion… The Home Depot will no longer permit Store Credits to be redeemed online. This change may also protect customers from purchasing fraudulent store credits from third parties.”  You cannot check convert 38.3 c to f balance of Home Depot store credit online or via a phone call, you must “visit a local The Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you.”  Confused much?

Just for clarification, there are a few different Home Depot credit cards issued by different banks, traditional and virtual Home Depot gift cards, and lastly, Home Depot store credit.

Home Depot Credit Card
Home Depot Gift Card
Home Depot Store Credit

I visited my local Home Depot store and went to the customer service department.  I explained the situation to the cashier and said that I needed help ordering the outdoor patio furniture slipcovers online and paying with my Home Depot store credit.  The cashier gave me bad news, store credit could not be used for online purchases and the item I wanted was only available online.  I asked if there was any way to use the store credit to buy the items online and the cashier called the manager for advice.  Apparently, there is a workaround…

Imagine you don’t have a credit or debit card and want to buy something on HomeDepot.com with cash, what can you do?  The customer service department orders the items online by creating a customer invoice and ships the order to the store.  When the order arrives at the store, the customer pays when they pick up their order.  Since the customer is paying for the order at the store, you can pay with Home Depot store credit.  Hopefully that makes sense.  If you run into any issues with the cashier, you may need to tell the cashier that you will pay cash how to apply for a home depot credit card the order arrives at the store.  When your order does arrive at the store, you should be able to pay with your Home Depot store credit.

Along with the above customer invoice, you should also receive a Home Depot Special Service page with details of the will call process.

After you place your in-store order, you can Track Your Order online by looking up the order number and your phone number.

You will then be able to see details of your in-store order.

You should also receive an email when your order is shipped to your Home Depot store.

When your order arrives at your Home Depot store, you should receive an email telling you that your order is ready for pickup at the customer service department.  You may also receive an email that says your order has arrived at your Home Depot store.  Make sure you wait for an email that says your order is ready for pickup (otherwise you might get to the store before the order has been unloaded how to apply for a home depot credit card the truck and have to wait for an employee to find your package).

If you already paid for your order ahead of time, you just need to go to the customer service department and show your receipt to the cashier.  If you haven’t paid yet, you can use your Home Depot store credit to pay at the customer service department.  You should also bring your driver’s license, in case the employee asks to see proof of identification.  Your store may also offer Curbside Pickup, but I think that usually takes longer than going inside the store to pickup your order.  Also, make sure you pick up your order within 30 days, or whatever the pickup policy states.

I asked the cashier to open the box to confirm that both outdoor patio furniture slipcovers were included in the box.

Once we verified that everything was there, the cashier completed the pickup process and printed out a pickup confirmation page.  I thanked the cashier and left the store.

Last but not least, you should receive one more email that includes the pickup confirmation page shown above.

To say that this whole process was quick and easy would be a lie.  If you have Home Depot store credit, you are better off using the store credit in-store than doing this workaround to buy items online.  If you have any questions about using your Home Depot store credit for online purchases, please leave a comment below.  Have a great day everyone!

Obsessed with this app

I didn’t think this app would be so useful. Most store apps run slow or get stuck. This app keeps me logged in and shows how to apply for a home depot credit card I’ve viewed. It shows you what stores have in sell walmart gift card for cash and what aisle they how to apply for a home depot credit card on. Cut my shopping time by 75% while I was in ther store looking for stuff. You can scan items to see how much they are which is helpful. If your shopping at home it gives you comparable items to look at and specified the difference side by side. You can create lists to save favorite items in a certain category which is then easy to go back and review or find what you were viewing earlier rather than how to apply for a home depot credit card the back button or searching again for the item. No glitches, no pop ups. Easy check out. too easy and free delivery to home with over $45 purchase which is easy to do when your working on your home. If you buy in the store they only ship items over $400 in price. So this app has made it super handy to get the parts, accessories, fun stuff for the houseetc. And they have nearly everything you could want. You can hire a tech to install appliances or sheds and or remove the old appliances. Or hire a tech for items that need to be assembled. The labor is rather affordable if you are not so handy like me and want it done right. If you shop at Home Depot you should get this app. It helps if your in the store or at home. I’m on it everyday!! And I’ve had no problems with it. Shipping has been an average of mortgage questions login phh days max.😀

App couldn’t handle my needs

I downloaded your app yesterday, hoping it would help me find and ship some items to store 742 in Chattanooga for pick up. The items are Vigoro plant props, 18“ and 36“. First of all, neither the app nor your website could find “Vigoro plant props“. So I was forced to call your toll-free number (I know this store sells bb gun sniper rifle with scope items because I’ve bought them there, but they weren’t in stock on Sunday) and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes the helpful rep gave me the “Internet number“ for the items. Now how was I supposed to know the Internet number? Your app and your website get a failing grade for not being able to find the item from the description of the actual product. So now I’ve already wasted 30 minutes of my precious time. I spent the next 30 minutes trying to get the app to let me order the items and ship them to store for pick up (after all, that’s one of the main features that Home Depot promotes as an app benefit), but the app simply refused to give me that option. I finally rang the store to talk to the manager to get some answers about the app’s failure to let me ship to store. He couldn’t help. But he did give me an eensy teensy bit of an idea of when the plant props might be shipped to his store. So Home Depot hasn’t helped me at all today, although it’s wasted 1 1/2 hours of my time. And now I’m required to ring the store every day to see whether the items are back in stock. Thanks, Home Depot.

Home Depot is the best

I shop mostly from Menards and Home Depot. Menards sells a lot of misc items like food, books, DVDs, etc and are okay on hardware items but for most hardware items, Home Depot is the best. They have the best tools and their hardware items are spirit airlines phone number usa most organized. Looking for a faucet washer part at Menards was almost impossible as half there stuff was in the wrong spots and was more expensive than Home Depot. Home Depot will cut pipe to the length you want and thread the ends. Also they will cut lumber to the size you want both length and width. Menards does not do that. They will cut a board to the length on a cross cutter saw but that is it only. The best thing is that Home Depot supports our veterans by giving them a 10% discount in store and they carry just about anything. They carry more major brands like Toro products where Menards doesn’t and as a general rule Home Depot employee’s seem more knowledgeable about how too fix something. The Home Depot has a computer to match your color that you need to match too while Menards you have to look at a color chart and then try to match to a close color that you need. As I said Home Depot is the best of the best.

How to Check Your Home Depot Credit Card Balance

When you shop at The Home Depot®, it is convenient to use prepaid cards, whether it be a reloadable purchase card or a gift card. Using these cards can be extremely beneficial if you have a team of employees; when you delegate cards to everybody in the group, you can send anybody to make purchases for you at The Home Depot.

Because you can load a set balance onto the card, you can set spending limits for your employees, and you can track their purchases when you link them to your Pro Xtra® account (Learn how to link your reloadable card or your gift card to your Pro Xtra account). However, sometimes you can lose track of how much you spend on each card, so being able to check your balance is very useful.

There are multiple ways to check your reloadable card or gift card balance, so you can select the best method for you:

  • ONLINE: Check your balance online using Home Depot’s site.
  • OVER THE PHONE: Call Home Depot’s gift card support at 1-877-423-3005
  • REGISTER OR SERVICE DESK: Just ask the cashier or service associate to check your balance. They will scan your card and tell you how much store credit you have remaining!
  • SELF-CHECKOUT: When you are at the self-checkout, select the “Price Check” option and scan your card. If it is a gift card, it will ask you for the pin number on the back. It should then tell you the remaining balance on your card.
  • RESEARCH RECEIPTS: If your barcode is no longer legible, but you have receipts for all past transactions using the gift card, the right person at Home Depot can examine them and determine the remaining balance.

In this case, Home Depot will usually replace the store credit or give you a one-time discount if the remaining balance is less than $50 or visible on your card.

Checking your card balance is usually pretty simple! Just implement one of the above methods and you should be able to see your gift card balance in no time.

If you discover that your balance is lower than you like, you can reload your card by visiting this link, contacting Home Depot’s gift card support team at 1-877-423-3005, or calling Cash Star at 1-866-903-9161 (They handle gift cards and Pro reloadable cards).

Using reloadable cards is extremely beneficial, especially because death at a funeral 2007 can control employee spending and track the purchases made by your employees. How? When you sign up for Home Depot Pro Xtra, you can link all of your cards–credit, debit, reloadable, and gift cards–and track your company’s purchases.

Unfortunately, uploading your purchases is only so helpful. That is why you need to use Pro Xtra in conjunction with an accounting software like Intuit QuickBooks®. In QuickBooks, you can get accurate reports and manage your accounting processes with ease.

When you use Pro Xtra and QuickBooks together, it may become tiresome and time-consuming to type away at the keyboard as you manually enter your information digit by digit. With the Intuit-approved HammerZen app, the time you spend putting data into your computer is cut down significantly. Instead of hours, it only takes minutes to import your Home Depot purchases into QuickBooks!

Home Depot launches mobile payments to streamline checkout

Big box retailer Home Depot is ramping up its mobile strategy by testing a PayPal-enabled mobile payment solution at select stores.

The news marks Home Depot as the first retailer to sign on with PayPal as part of a bigger initiative from Paypal to bridge online and in-store traffic for retailers. The program has been in use since early December in five Home Depot locations in the United States and utilizes PayPal’s point-of-sale mobile payment service.

“Retail is changing with the emergence of these technologies that blur the lines between online and offline,” said Anuj Nayar, director of communications for PayPal, San Jose, CA.

“Mobile payments is only one small change that retailers need to compete in with in order to match what consumers are doing in stores, including bar code scanning and price comparing,” he said.

    Mobile home
Home Depot is the first retailer to be announced from PayPal’s new mobile payment solution to help retailers integrate mobile payments at point-of-sale stations.

PayPal is reportedly working with 20 retailers on the initiative and has plans to release the names of other retailers in the following months.

The PayPal-enabled program lets consumers pay for items by using the PayPal mobile wallet.

Users can either enter their phone number at check-out on a kiosk to have the bill sent to their carrier’s account bill. Consumers can also pay via a PayPal-issued credit card that connects with their phone account number.

The program also has tentative plans to extend to other Home Depot locations if the test trial is successful.

    Payment war
PayPal has been aggressively pursuing mobile payments death at a funeral rotten tomatoes to claim its piece of the mobile pie.

For example, in December PayPal tested a NFC-enabled mobile app in two retail locations in Sweden (see story).

Mobile payments are a hot item, but until recently it has been difficult for retailers to get behind the technology.

PayPal’s push for mobile payments in 2012 might be a response to Google Wallet, which let numerous retailers and brands in 2011 with mobile payments.

However, some experts believe that mobile payments still have a way to go to get consumers on board and will be more driven by NFC-enabled mobile devices.

“In the long-term, NFC phones will become more pervasive and normal credit cards will be mobilized,” said Drew Sievers, CEO of mFoundry, Larkspur, Christmas tree in the park san jose. Sievers is not affiliated with PayPal or Home Depot. He commented based on his expertise on the subject.

“A mobile payment has to have a very rich incentive for a consumer to latch on to, and merchants need to layer on relevant offers and deals in order for them to stick around,” Mr. Sievers said.
